HALIDE

Sound design for trailers · Los Angeles / remote

Make the
cut hit.

HALIDE writes the first shiver, the rupture before the title card, and the last impossible tail after the screen goes black.

01 / What we chase

The moment
air becomes
weight.

A trailer has seconds to turn a room. We build its physical language from recorded friction, rewired machinery, bowed metal and deliberate silence.

02 / Selected sonic worlds

2023—2026

  1. H-021

    Cinder
    Country

    Mythic western / trailer launch
Dust-choked low end, bolt-action percussion, a choir that never resolves.

  2. H-034

    The Long
    Signal

    Science fiction / final push
Electromagnetic recordings stretched until they bloom into a warning siren.

  3. H-041

    Mara & the
    Deep

    Adventure / global debut
Submerged breath, ship-hull groans, and one clean flare of brass at the surface.

03 / The pressure probe

Find the
break.

Every trailer needs one point where the sound stops being atmosphere and becomes a physical event. Scan this contour to inspect ours.

04 / The signal chain

No library
can carry
the scene.

We start with a question the picture has not answered yet. Then we make an instrument specific enough to ask it in sound.

  1. Find the fault line

We map the turn: where confidence slips, where scale arrives, where the editor needs a held breath instead of another hit.

  2. Make the material

Hydrophones, contact mics, synth modules, a percussion cart and a small room full of stubborn objects give each campaign its own grain.

  3. Cut for the body

Every transient has a job. We leave room around it, test it against the picture, then make the final frame feel longer than it is.

05 / Book a listening session

Start
the noise.

Send a cut, a treatment, or the part that still feels too polite. We will listen for the pressure point.
